Stoke 1-0 Liverpool.

A couple of posts ago I pinpointed how Stoke have been able to defy the statistics and remain comfortably members of the EPL.They've made the absolute maximum use of their shots on goal, frustrated their opponents with disciplined defence and excelled at saving shots on target.

They used all of those attributes yesterday.Stoke had one shot on target,Liverpool had seven, including five in one incredible 20 seconds of 2nd half play and they had just 27% of the possession.Quite naturally, they took all three points.
